Why JR Ergonomics

Our goal is to ensure we meet your specific ergonomic needs with the best viable solutions to prevent and/or mitigate your ergonomic issues and concerns.

We provide ergonomics services ranging from the single worker in a home office to an entire workforce on an assembly line.

JR Ergonomics can provide you with the necessary tools and information to identify and reduce workplace discomfort/injury & the costs associated with workers’ compensation and group healthcare premiums.

We assist in fitting the job to the worker, to prevent a mismatch between the requirements of the job and the workers ability, while still getting the job done.  This focus allows us to prevent and/or mitigate work-related issues and protect the worker at the same time.

The Value of Ergonomics Today

‘Many people suffer because their conditions at work and home are incompatible with their needs, abilities and limitations. This situation affects their safety and welfare, as well as, that of organizations and societies.

High technology can make our lives more efficient and exciting. However, fascination with technology and overly ambitious business expectations can cause us to overlook human factors risks. Neglecting these risks can have serious effects on manufacturers, suppliers and service enterprises.

Therefore, ergonomics and human factors will be more important in the postmodern era than when it was first introduced in the nineteenth century.’  Cited from the International Ergonomics Association
